Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in dimension overall, consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Azure, three piles conjoined issuant from base Brn, edged Or surmounted by a lamp of knowledge of the like, enflamed Proper; a chief gyronny of nine Gules and Or. Attached below a Blue scroll inscribed "SPECIAL TRUST CONFIDENCE" in Gold.

Symbolism
The lamp of knowledge symbolizes the Regiment's light to guide and train soldiers. The conjoined piles allude to mountains and the Arizona landscape. The chief with the wedges signify the sun and the Arizona climate. The combination of the chief, wedges and blue field suggests the Arizona state flag, the location of the Regiment.

The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 4 January 2006.
